The weather is perfect—days in the 80s and evenings in the high 60s. I’d recommend bringing a light jacket for the cooler nights, but otherwise, it’s ideal for exploring and relaxing.

Day 1: Easy Arrival and a Relaxing Start

We landed in the afternoon, so we took it easy on our first day. We stayed at the Hilton San Salvador, which was super convenient—it’s right across the street from the World Trade Center. The area is full of restaurants, from fast food to sit-down dining, and there’s even a walkway connecting the hotel to the marketplace. It made grabbing a quick meal or exploring stress-free.

The hotel was a perfect spot to settle in and unwind after traveling. The views and amenities didn’t disappoint!

Day 2: Beach Vibes at Nawi Beach House

We spent our second day at Nawi Beach House, and let me tell you, it’s worth every penny. You’ll need to reserve your spot for $25 per person, and if you want a cabana (which I highly recommend), that’s an extra $25. Relaxing by the beach with a cold drink in hand? Priceless.

There’s even horseback riding available if you’re feeling adventurous, but we just chilled and soaked up the beach vibes. One heads-up: while Uber works to get you there, it’s not always available for a ride back. Luckily, our Uber driver waited for us, but plan accordingly so you’re not stranded.

Day 3: Volcanoes and Mayan History

This was an adventure-packed day. Did you know that El Salvador is home to 23 active volcanoes out of a total of 170 volcanoes? That’s right—it’s known as the "Land of Volcanoes" for a reason. We started the day at a volcano park, where the views were absolutely breathtaking. Walking around the craters and seeing the natural beauty up close was something I’ll never forget.

Day 4: Café Albania and the Hot Springs

After Café Albania, we headed to the Hot Springs, where we soaked in warm, mineral-rich waters—perfect for unwinding after a few busy days of exploring. Lunch was included, and it was delicious!
